Is This Just ContraShock?

For the last 10 years Brooklyn Contra has been pleased to co-produce ContraShock! This year we’re back with something just a little bit brand new. Same amazing venue, more great bands, even more dancing, and even more Brooklyn Contra flair!

Our 2025 Artists

We’re joined this year by some of America’s best contra talent, including Kingfisher, Will Mentor, The Red Case Band, Lyss Adkins and Some Assembly Required! Together they’re spanning genres with funky modern contra sounds, classic New England tunes, and everything in between.

Plus we’ll have Sunday morning workshops, live break music, and more!

This year’s schedule features three days of contra dancing at our beautiful venue plus a community sing, workshops, afterparties, and more!
